Got this Christmas thing figured out

And now it's over. Thank God.
But seriously.
A lovely time was had by all. Much delicious food was made, and then consumed, as it was written. Our Playmobile nativity set suffered only minor abuse, and the Happy Birthday banner that hangs above it has been at its most relevant since it was put up for Peanut's birthday at the end of September. Our tree, which was alive when we bought it, seems to still be so, and so, all in all, seeing as how we all survived, children, parents, grandparents, nativity set and tree, I would call it a successful holiday. And praise Jeebus it happens only once a year.
